AD DERAH is licensed by the Qatari Ministry of Education. AD DERAH seeks to the highest standards, of education to both Qatari and non Qatari Students residing in Qatar.

Excellence in AD DERAH manifests itself in academics, technology, social skills, creative arts, and leadership qualities. We believe in a well-rounded education that equip students with the needed skills and qualities to lead successful adult lives. In our pursuit to achieve this level of excellence, we respect individual differences and strive to ensure that every student achieves his/ her maximum potential.

We employ various teaching methodologies and individualization tools of instruction and learning to meet this objective. AD DERAH, however, does not provide provisions for students with special needs due to its firm belief that such children are best served in an environment that caters to their disabilities and which does not fall within the scope or capability of our school.

In as much as we believe in positive competition, we also, value personal development and improvement. Hence, various methods are used to assess our students such as portfolios, tests, projects, and presentations. Each student is evaluated in terms of his/her “intra” (comparison with self) and “inter” (comparison with others) differences.
Our classrooms are student – centered, and our teachers are regarded as “facilitators” of knowledge acquisition as well as providers of essential concepts and skills. we believe in an education that is based on democracy. Students are encouraged to think independently, question information, and discuss and analyze outcomes in and atmosphere of mutual respect.
